And to be honest, I’m glad that it did. As I am a big fan of these spicy and tasteful Indian cuisine dishes.Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi: A Perfect Indian Dish for Those Who Prefer Their Food Spicy

Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi is one of my most favorite Indian cuisine dishes. I often eat Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi. I particularly enjoy Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi for the incredible combination of taste and smell it offers. Also I love the spicy taste and the effect it has once a bite is taken. And also, it’s a simple dish.

To be honest, I can’t cook to save my life. And I must confess, I lack the patience and demeanor to cook. So it always ends up to be a disaster when I try to go beyond heating up the ready to cook meals, well at most cook something very simple.

But strangely I enjoy observing how dishes are made. Let me show you how close I get to “proper cooking”. And how Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi is prepared.

To make Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, first you need to prepare the puree. For making Onion puree, 11/2 onions are cut into 1/4’s. Then the puree is made using tomatoes, green pepper, ginger, garlic, green chillies and coriander and blended finely.

When the puree is done, the preparation of the “Jalfrezi” begins. In a medium sized saucepan, a crushed garlic clove is fried slowly to golden. Then some sliced onion is added along with chopped tomato and cooked to soften. Then some curry paste and tikka paste is added in the saucepan with chilli powder.

Then the blended puree is added along with warm water. And finally the chicken is added to the saucepan and it is cooked for 20-25 minutes.

When this preparation is almost done, some green chillies and chopped corianders are added and the whole preparation is cooked until it is moist enough.

I prefer my Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi quite spicy and pair it with less spicy Nan breads like Cheese Nan or Garlic Nan. However, it tastes even better with Mushroom Rice or Vegetable Rice.
